Abakuá Icon by Ruddy

Canto abacoa by Arsenio Rodríguez followed on Piñiero's recordings of the 1920s. Then there was the Abakuá salutation: Nague, performed by Chano Pozo, with bits borrowed from Dizzy Gillespie's Manteca, which Chano Pozo apparently heard in the Royal Roost Club in New York in 1948.
